Submission of the Applications
Pianists from Russia and foreign countries of the following two age groups are invited to take part in the Competition:

• junior group up to 19 years of age;

• senior group aged 19-30.

The age of participants shall be established as of the date of the opening ceremony of the Competition (10 May 2026).

The Applications shall be submitted through the online form. The Applications
 for participation in the in-presence auditions of the Qualifying round shall be accepted from 1 June 2025 and  no later than 5 days before audition in the relevant city. The Applications for participation in the auditions
of the Qualifying round on the basis of video records shall be accepted from
1 June 2025 to 31 December 2025.

The results of the Qualifying round will be published on the site of the Competition on 15 February 2026.
The Confirmations of participation in the main rounds will be accepted from 16 February 2026 to 10 March 2026, 23:59 Moscow time. The Confirmations shall be submitted through the online form on the official site of the Competition: rmpcompetition.ru.
Application fees
The Arrangement fees for the participation in the Competition shall amount to RUB 4,000 for participants of the junior group and RUB 6,000 for participants of the senior group.
Auditions
The Qualifying round shall be carried out in-presence or on the basis of video records by the competitor's choice.

In-presence auditions of the Qualifying round shall be held in public in 15 cities worldwide (the list of cities can be changed):

  6. Buenos Aires (Argentina)
  7. Hanoi (Vietnam)

  11. Paris (France)
  12. Rome (Italy)
  13. St. Petersburg (Russia)
  14. Tashkent (Uzbekistan)
  15. Yerevan (Armenia)

Auditions of the Qualifying round on the basis of video records shall be carried out in absentia.

The competition auditions of the three main rounds shall be held in public. The programs of the 1st and 2nd rounds shall be performed solo, the programs of the 3rd round shall be performed with the Symphony Orchestra. The winners of the Competition shall take part in the closing concert of laureates.

All compositions shall be performed by heart. The programs presented by a competitor for the Qualifying round may coincide with the programs of the main rounds. No repetition of compositions performed in the 1st round of the Competition shall be allowed in the 2nd round of the Competition.
Procedure for determining
the results of the Competition
The Jury shall evaluate the participants’ performance according to the yes/no system in the qualifying round and in the 1st and 2nd in-presence rounds, while in the frame of the 3rd in-presence round performances shall be evaluated according to the 25-point scale. The 25-point scale provides that the highest and the lowest scores are discarded, whereupon all remaining points are added up and divided by the number of the voting members of the Jury to get the average score. The average score shall be the basis to draw up the rating of finalists and determine the winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes.
